Conservatism at Derby Literary Festival

How are you fixed for Thursday 25th May between the hours of 10.30 and 11.30am? If you are at a loose end and happen to be in or around Derby, I am speaking at Derby Literary Festival. What about? This image might provide a clue:

I'll be discussing the thesis of my book with a focus on the new material about to be published in the paperback edition, now titled (in case you missed it) The Party's Over: The Rise and Fall of Conservatism from Thatcher to Sunak.

The talk will be taking place at the aforementioned time at the Artcore gallery, Osnabbruck Square, Derby, DE1 2DS. Entry is free BUT the organisers require you book a free ticket beforehand. They are available here.

How peculiar. The image should be there now.

You should title each new edition of your book: "The Tories are Shit!". It will always be true (at least in terms of the practical interests of the vast majority of the British people).

Shit as the current leadership of the Labour Party are, the Tories are obviously even worse.
