New Blog Round Up

I'm slightly changing the format of the monthly round up of the new left blogs that have come my way. Instead of long and boring descriptions attending each blog I've decided to do an Iain Dale and nick the way he does his daily plugs. If you want to know what a blog is about, go and have a look yourself!

Without further ado;

1)
Air Strike (Socialist Party)
2)
Roger Banister (Socialist Party)
3)
Volume 3 (Unaligned) (Twitter)
4)
Red Postie (Workers' Power)
5)
Going Postal (Unaligned)
6)
Tom Scholes-Fogg (Labour) (Twitter)
7)
The Audacity of Pope (Labour) (Twitter)
8)
Working for the Clampdown (Labour) (Twitter)
9)
Tom Reynold's Longton North Labour Blog (Labour) (Twitter)
10)
Plurality. (Unaligned) (Twitter)
11)
Oxford Radical Forum (Unaligned)
12)
Watching with George (Unaligned)
13)
Stoke Socialist Party (Socialist Party)

If you know of any new(ish) left, Labour, feminist, Green, socialist etc. blogs let me know about them via the old email or comments box and they'll get a plug in the next round up in a month's time.

I'm reassured by you choosing this format. It's the same as I use for my weekly round-up of blog posts I've liked, but I've worried a few times that it should really have some summaries from me. In fact I think they are unnecessary - the main thing is that links are there and readers can check out what takes their fancy.

You're right, Alex. If I'm truthful about it the monthly round up of blogs was starting to be the hardest thing to write, and therefore becoming a chore. I've always said that if I don't enjoy blogging any more then I should think about packing it in. And so the switch is as much about my blogging sanity as the patience of my readers.

Nothing tickling my funny bone there.

Worry not, I hear Accrington Anarchists will shortly be taking to the web!

Hi Phil,

Could you add our new blog to your next 'new blog round up'? It's for the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition in Portsmouth North.

Currently its mainly campaign updates and picket line news, but as the campaign rolls on we should have more and more content online.

Hope life is good,
