I haven't shuffled off my mortal coil. Things have been very busy, and I've spent tonight editing a chapter instead of blogging. But in case you're one of the handful of people who looks forward to regular postings, normal service should resume shortly.
That makes this a perfect occasion for some quality filler. This one comes from Stephen E Andrews AKA The Outlaw Bookseller, and he's talking about one of his favourite ever novels. Give it a whirl.

Unless you let on what book it is, that's clickbait.
Not really, it's preserving the mystery and suspense of the piece itself, which takes about 6 minutes of useful preamble before reveling the book in question. Clickbait is a link, thumbnail or piece of text that promises one thing but delivers something altogether. By contrast, the text here introduces a short film that delivers exactly what the text promises, an interesting and thoughtful piece on philosophy and science fiction with a focus on one work in particular, which I will not reveal.
