The inward-looking myopia of the UK Left in a nutshell ! Wake up people, all previous bets are now off on previous UK political projections, on the Greens , or Reform, or any other player. This war will change everything, and authoritarian measures to "stabilize" public order and restrict non msm information flows, will quite possibly lie ahead across Europe and the US as the lights go out and international trade in a huge range of essentials falters.
Catasrophe seems rather overstating possible outcomes. For Israel a Gazafication of Lebanon and parts of Iran would be a tremendous outcome, particularly if it can seize a few more acres of land to its north, south and east and increase the chaos all around its sacred new borders. And the religious extremists in the US might also be pleased at this realisation of Bible prophecies.The End of Times is even more imminent. Fot Trump and the trumpeters maybe not so much a triumph but he has an ability to come out of disasters relatively undamaged - think of his grabbing comments pre 2016, the attempt at insurrection in 2021, floods and fires last year. His base remains solid, he will tell them that the US has had the greatest triumph in world history, and the thought of the 'liberation' of Cuba will excite them. Who cares about Tehran when you think you will soon holiday in Havana! The catastrophe may be for the middle east and Europe with economic disaters due to destructions of infrastructure and rising oil prices but then the US is largely self sufficient and will soon have access to Venezulan supplies. Who cares about the European backwater and the satraps that think they rule it. They will continue to do as their told and spend ridiculous amounts on over-priced US ams.
