Pet Shop Boys - Axis

I can't help but rave about this. It's the Pet Shop Boys. But it isn't the Pet Shop Boys. As George Michael once said, listen without prejudice.

A contender for one of the greatest dance tunes of 2013? Most certainly.

Anyway, while the blogging batteries are recharging here's my pick of what 2012 had to offer.

That was amazing - what have they been putting in Neil's Ovaltine?

Too short, though. There are going to be some great remixes - can't wait.

Dave Pearce's Dance Years on Radio 2 tonight has a PSB special. Hopefully a couple more tracks from their upcoming album will get showcased. I am very much looking forward to it!

I miss Neil's vocals. But I think the last decade of PSB has been about the visual spectacle, rather than the music - they're great live, but I'd rather listen to 'Please' or 'Actually' at home.

not convinced, but then my favourite PSBs are...

behaviour and bilingual

basically dance-mope...

IF you like that, you might like this

though more mope than dance, for sure...

Axis and Vocal, I am hooked! Could this album rival Introspective?!?
