I can't help but rave about this. It's the Pet Shop Boys. But it isn't the Pet Shop Boys. As George Michael once said, listen without prejudice.
A contender for one of the greatest dance tunes of 2013? Most certainly. Anyway, while the blogging batteries are recharging here's my pick of what 2012 had to offer.
Dave Pearce's Dance Years on Radio 2 tonight has a PSB special. Hopefully a couple more tracks from their upcoming album will get showcased. I am very much looking forward to it!
I miss Neil's vocals. But I think the last decade of PSB has been about the visual spectacle, rather than the music - they're great live, but I'd rather listen to 'Please' or 'Actually' at home.
That was amazing - what have they been putting in Neil's Ovaltine?
ReplyDeleteToo short, though. There are going to be some great remixes - can't wait.
