Not that it really matters any more, but the BNP deposed Nazi Nick this week and replaced him with an idiot who goes round in an army uniform "in solidarity" with British troops. As Griffin bows out of the limelight to spend more time with his money worries, here's the seminal Question Time moment of 'peak BNP' from 2009.
You can watch the rest here, here, here, here, and here.

Looks like Nick the Dick has had his five minutes of fame.
Question is what comes after him? If the three main parties stick to neoliberalism and if Labour takes its core votes for granted there will be enough alienated people for the far right to exploit.
The danger would be if the far right could find a figure similar to Wilders in the Netherlands - charismatic without an embarrassing Nazi past, who claims to support gay rights and Western values and who concentrates on demonising Muslims and immigrants. I can see quite a large market for that.
For anti Europeans to forward their ideal, they (the establishment) have to relegate the BNP from the scene.
Every prime minister and politician in Westminster expresses "solidarity" with British troops. So they're all idiots as well? As it happens most of them are idiots, but not for the above reason.
I just love sociologists' logic.
