If only everyone but Americans had a vote, eh?

Readers of secularist and freethought blogs will be aware that Pakistan is among the very worst for superstition and bigotry. Do they see kindred spirits in the GOP? Is this the real reason?

I think it's more likely Obama's drone attacks have something to do with it.

Of course, if Romney is successful chances are they'll get much worse.

Yes, and that's ultimately why I agree with your endorsement of Obama. Any grounds I can find for slagging him off, Romney is there being even worse. But what about third parties? I'm led to believe there are places that are the equivalent of safe seats. And people there who don't support the local shoo-in will waste their votes, so they might as well do it in style...

which is where third parties come in, and I note you haven't referred to them, but I'd be sorely tempted to vote for Johnson (presumably it would be Stein for you) if I knew it wouldn't let Romney win. Both Johnson and Stein have actually raised issues that the duopoly would rather go unmentioned, like foreign policy, the "war" on drugs, civil liberties and what have you.

But in the end the prospect of Romney wielding nuclear weapons is terrifying. The thought of a war against Iran chills me, and you can say with 100% certainty that it won't do anything to ease the suffering of Iranians under their regime.
