There is of course the brilliant - and highly charged politically - new(ish) blog, Wind From Nowhere!

Thanks,

Ah, someone wasn't paying attention! You were plugged back in February here.

Only a week old:

But I know some blogs can be short-lived and not everyone can stay the course. So who knows...

Not a new blog but I would direct people's attention to the Irish Left Document Archive hosted on cedar lounge revolution if they have't came across it before: http://cedarlounge.wordpress.com/archive-index/

From a Brit perspective it also hosts material from British groups relating to the north. All material is in pdf.

Phil - need to put you on the spot. In your opinion has anyone other than Tristram Hunt got a chance in Stoke Central? If so what's the best tactical vote?

No probs, Mark. I'll be writing a post on our canvassing returns that will be appearing tomorrow. Going from them I think Tristram will win, but there are a lot of don't knows out there. If that's code for the BNP then it's imperative as many people turn out as possible to vote Labour.
