This year, like the last, celebrates the exploits of women soldiers on the eastern front during the Second World War. Here from Mark Felton's superb military history channel we remember the contributions of female snipers and particularly Roza Shanina, dubbed the 'Terror of East Prussia' by the Canadian press.
