* There were no by-elections in Scotland
** There was one by-election in Wales
*** There were no Independent clashes
**** Others this month consisted of TUSC (20 votes)
There's nothing much you can say about months like these. With local elections next week and by-elections getting rolled over to polling day, April has been tumbleweed with just three contests and three easy Labour holds. That's it!
20th April
Enfield, Bullsmoor, Lab hold
Warrington, Latchford West, Lab hold
27th April
Swansea, Penderry, Lab hold
