We've had the Trotskyism vs BDSM debate and split, but in truth that is small beer compared to the finest sectariana below. This was a debate that took place on a public Facebook forum of Left Unity, the sort of Ken Loach vehicle that has since largely dissolved itself into Labour. Many thanks to @ursusocculta for unearthing it. All further comment is superfluous.
You are a true public servant, Phil. Take a bow.

ReplyDeleteIt's not a declaration of their party policy.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the objection? That's it's impossible to take the whole issue seriously or that some party bigwig should just put a stop to daft arguments or announce what the party policy on masturbation is and tell everyone to accept it?
There's a writes-itself joke here about whether far-left politics at work is ever acceptable.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention the guy fixated on not having a 'collective position'. Of course not; there are private clubs and parties for that sort of thing.
As Ken Loach himself once said in a different context, it is beyond satire. If not beyond belief. Reading this sort of stuff must make the Right think they have little to fear. RIP Left Unity.
ReplyDeleteWho gives a toss ? (Sorry)
ReplyDeleteAdds a new dimension to the definition of self-employment.
