Shenzhou-10 Launch

Is there anything more visually striking than the modernity of a rocket launch?

Best of luck to the three taikonauts during their fortnight sojourn at China's orbiting spacelab.

Now, this blog has talked about space programmes twice before, so on a lazy night like this I recommend you check them out in lieu of anything new.

  1. Combine this with with abject working conditions and enormous levels of poverty and then I think we get a more striking picture of modernity.

  2. I look forward to further synergies between this blog and Andy Newman's "Socialist Unity".

  3. I would suggest that the Saturn V rockets are vastly superior.

  4. You mean the levels of poverty that China has successfully reduced? Meanwhile here in Britain and across the sea in America, we've had frozen real wages, attacks on the poorest and the needy ...

Dagmar, the first thing a socialist must be capable of is telling themselves the truth. If that doesn't fit in with your dogmatic twaddle that's your tough titty.

And yes, Gary, as it happens I do agree with you. The Saturn V was a majestic beast.
