BBC 1, one of the five main channels here has suspended its normal programming from 4pm today (11 am Washington time I believe) to give the inuguration coverage. This is on top of non-stop reportage from the ground on BBC News 24. The press are full of it too this morning, with the liberal/centre-left press understandably more excited than the right.
