Top 100 dan...What can I say, I have normie tastes.

Top 100 dance tracks of the decade coming up on New Year's Eve. Guaranteed to make your ears bleed (and yes, the above is on the list).Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06298147857234479278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4486641877026778105.post-8706723061134308122019-08-21T11:19:55.794+01:002019-08-21T11:19:55.794+01:00Have you seen that 'Everybody in the Place'...Have you seen that 'Everybody in the Place' documentary?
It is very good.
In it, the guy (I can't remember his name) asserts that early dance music pioneers in Detroit and other American cities, had taken over the mean of production in terms of producing their own music and their own culture.

Whereas - the music you post seems like poor quality, commercial dross, empty of any soul, and a series of cynical attempts by various European businessmen to monetise the dance music scene.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE dance music. Just not THIS dance music.

It would be good to know what you think of some 'proper' underground dance music such as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOfZrk61PkE

So, what you say and what music you like seem at odds.

p.s. I like your blog, I like that you like naff dance music and keep posting it, I have my guilty pleasures too, keep up the good work PlebJamesnoreply@blogger.com
