We all want Jeremy.

This is why The Tories run my Country and run my City. Speaking as an actual Corbynite*, I've certainly got far fewer problems with the 'right-wingers' of LF than with a certain kind of centre-left commentary, which starts from the premise that Corbyn (a) is a Marxist, (b) is laughable and (c) must be defeated at all costs, skipping over any concern for working together or (ironically) actually winning elections; Peter Kelner's recent musings on how Labour could find the next Ramsay MacDonald are a case in point.

*Not really, if only because I remember him from way back when (solid leftie, good constituency MP, very sound on Ireland and, er, that's it). But I did abandon Labour under Blair - to the point of actively advocating a non-Labour vote in 2005 - and I have joined the party specifically to support the new leadership, and the change of direction which the party membership has demonstrated it wants.Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07009879034507926661noreply@blogger.com
